Ryan Hultzer is Executive Director, Inforce Business Management for Hong Kong and Singapore at °µÍøAV. He works cross-functionally with technical and commercial teams to deliver a coherent, forward-looking strategy for °µÍøAV's in-force business.
Prior to this role, Ryan was Head of Product Development for °µÍøAV's Hong Kong and Southeast Asia markets, where he led a team of product development actuaries to develop novel insurance products for °µÍøAV's clients, achieving industry-leading results.
Before joining °µÍøAV in 2023, Ryan was Head of Annuity Pricing for Just Retirement Life Ltd., where he priced annuities for retail and pension fund clients, and managed teams of actuaries and medical underwriters. Before that, Ryan spent six years with Munich Re as a pricing actuary, asset liability management liaison, and a trustee of the Munich Re of Africa pension fund. Ryan started his career as a product development business analyst with Allan Gray, Africa's largest privately owned investment management company.
Ryan earned a Bachelor of Business Science in Actuarial Science and Computer Science from the University of Cape Town, and is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA). He is a longtime volunteer with SCOUTS South Africa and currently volunteers as a swim coach for underprivileged adults, and as a crisis counselor with a global mental health nonprofit.
