Jeffrey (Jeff) Deters is the Chief Executive Officer of ReCap, a commercial mortgage lender and wholly owned subsidiary of °µÍøAV. He also serves as a chair of °µÍøAV's Real Estate Investment Committee.
Prior to his current position, he served as Chief Operating Officer of ReCap and member of °µÍøAV's Real Estate Investment Committee. In this role, he led the asset management, loan servicing, loan closing, and information technology groups at ReCap as well as the global facilities team for °µÍøAV.
Before his entry into management, Jeff spent over ten years as Vice President and Regional Manager. In this role, he opened and managed the Midwest Regional Office and originated over $1.6 billion of commercial real estate investments.
Jeff joined °µÍøAV as Senior Underwriter in May 2011. He was responsible for the underwriting of over $353 million of commercial mortgage loans and played an instrumental role in the ground-up development of °µÍøAV¡¯s commercial real estate investment platform.
Prior to °µÍøAV, Mr. Deters worked as an Asset Manager of non-performing loans at Midland Loan Services, a division of PNC Bank, NA, as Vice President, Real Estate Capital Markets at KeyBank Real Estate Capital and Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer at a Midwestern regional bank.
Jeff has a Master of Business Administration from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri at St. Louis.
